 Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage Opened to Traffic

Congratulations! Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage, world's largest three-tower cable-stayed highway bridge, opened to traffic. OVM is proud to contribute to this national-level mega project.

The Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage is connecting Zhuhai City and Jiangmen City in Guangdong Spanning about 31 kilometers in total, including a 14-km sea-crossing section, the passage features two main bridges: the Huangmaohai Bridge and the Gaolan Port Bridge.

OVM provided eddy current TMD (Tuned Mass Damper), PT products, and the installation service of the stay cables for both main bridges. The project started construction in March 2023, completing the installation of 71 pairs of stay cables, 5 pairs of auxiliary cables, 4 pairs of elastic cables, and nearly 5,000 tons of cable installation.
