MAHATMA MANDIA Cable stayed bridge——”Gandhi's Spinning Wheel” in Gandhinagar, India
MAHATMA MANDIA PHASE-2B is a stay cable bridge with single pylon, double-cable plane placed at one side of pylon. Total length of bridge is 239.7meters with span of 150+89.7meters。The project is located at the city of Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. The structure of stay cable bridge is designed by a hand reeling machine,the steel structure on top of the tower like two big spinning wheel, stay cable like the reeling. The bridge constitute the landmark of the city With Mahatma Gandhi museum and the international convention and exhibition center.
