Guiyang , China, 12 July 2025 OVM has successfully concluded the four-month installation of stay cables at Jinqi Bridge, a pivotal achievement enabling structural closure and upcoming operation of the Guizhou Wudang (Yangchang)-Changshun Expressway.

As the critical control project of this expressway, Jinqi Super Bridge features the worlds tallest Pylon (300.6 meters) among currently constructed extradosed bridges. The main bridge comprises a (169+320+169)-meter extra-long span composite deck with spatial dual-cable planes arranged in a dense fan configuration. Each of the two main towers accommodates 12 pairs of spatial stay cables, totaling 1,258.5 metric tons of strands. The project utilizes OVM250 Multi-strand stay cable system.

This milestone marks the completion of all cable installation works, establishing essential preconditions for main structural joining and future traffic opening.
