OVM’s 500-Ton Hydraulic Lifting System Passes Rigorous Overload Testing for Power Plant Super-Heavy Component Handling
OVM's 500-ton hydraulic lifting system has successfully completed rigorous overload testing under simulated operational conditions. The equipment demonstrated exceptional performance by:
- Sustaining a 625-ton static load (125% of rated capacity) at mid-span
- Executing lifting, lowering, and lateral movements with 550-ton counterweights (110% of rated load)
The engineering team developed a customized asymmetric steel portal frame solution to address the project's spatial constraints and complex piping layout. The comprehensive package included:
