OVM Powers Pingnan Grand Bridge Closure!
On January 18, 2025, Guangxi’s longest-span cable-stayed bridge, the Pingnan Super Major Bridge, successfully closed its main span. Located in Pingnan County, Guigang City, the bridge spans 2,273 meters, with a 636-meter steel box girder main span supported by 180-meter H-shaped towers.
OVM supplied and installed 152 stay cables, including the longest at 338 meters and the heaviest at 24.5 tons. Using its intelligent tensioning system, OVM’s team completed the installation in 107 days, ensuring precision and efficiency.
This milestone highlights OVM’s expertise in large-scale infrastructure, contributing to regional connectivity and development.
