The first cable of Nguyen Tat Thanh Bridge was installed successfully

With the successful installation of the first cable of Nguyen Tat Thanh Bridge on March 28^th,2024,  the construction phase of the bridge's installation of cable-stayed cables has officially started. 
 
This bridge is with main span of (80+100) m, single cable plane and single tower, and using steel-hybrid beam structure for its main beam. The main tower is composed of two cross-combined special-shaped steel tower structures, the tower column above the bridge floor is 56 meters high, and the bridge is 22.5 meters wide. OVM supplied cable system for this project
 
Since the main tower is a special-shaped steel tower, steel-mixed beam, cable installation is very difficult, OVM technical team try their best to overcome the difficulties, the first cable was successfully installed.
 
The bridge is expected to open to traffic in September 2024. After the completion of the project, it will solve the local traffic congestion problem, ensure the traffic safety of the Hanoi to Lao Cai railway and Vinh Yen City interchange, change the infrastructure construction of Vinh Yen City.
