In 2013, Chen Yuliang benefited from the "Guangxi Youth Talent Scholarship" of the Guangxi Hope Project to complete his studies. Over the following decade, he sponsored 38 underprivileged students and actively engaged in charitable activities. Recently, he partnered with the Guangxi Youth Development Foundation to establish the "Hope Science + Fund," planning to donate 100,000 RMB annually for the next ten years, embarking on a new "Decade of Public Service." This fund will ignite the passion of Guangxi's youth for science and sow the dreams of scientific innovation through methods such as distributing scholarships, organizing public science classes, and hosting science and technology summer camps.
 

Chen Yuliang at the OVM Postdoctoral Work Station

Chen Yuliang is an outstanding postdoctoral researcher who completed his tenure at the OVM company's postdoctoral research station and is currently serving as the vice dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture at Guangxi University of Science and Technology. In 2020, Chen Yuliang became a postdoctoral researcher jointly trained by OVM and South China University of Technology, under the guidance of Zi Dao Ming, deputy chief engineer of OVM and chief technology officer of Liuzhou Oriental Engineering Rubber Product Co., Ltd., and Professor Wu Bo, a member of the Party Committee and vice president of South China University of Technology. During his tenure, Chen Yuliang made significant achievements in the field of "Research on Key Technologies for Seismic Reduction of Prefabricated Steel Reinforced Concrete Structures," obtained several national patents, published 19 SCI/EI papers, and trained 5 master's students.
 

Contributions of the OVM Work Station

Since it established in 2002, the OVM work station has trained 13 postdoctoral researchers with the support of the Guangxi Department of Human Resources and Social Security's Service Center for Returned Students and Experts. In the same year, OVM company set up scholarships and teaching awards at universities such as Southeast University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Tsinghua University, Chang'an University, and Southwest Jiaotong University. Over the past 22 years, they have rewarded 938 teachers and students, effectively promoting the construction of China's transportation and civil engineering technical talent team and contributing to the prosperous development of China's infrastructure construction.
