The technical team of Liuzhou OVM Machinery Co., Ltd. has successfully completed the installation of all stay cables and real-time cable force monitoring during the incremental launching of the Senqu Bridge — the first extradosed bridge in the Kingdom of Lesotho.

      OVM provided a comprehensive bridge engineering solution, covering post-tensioning system, Incremental launching construction service, stay cable system, and intelligent monitoring systems.

      The intelligent cable force monitoring system, equipped with 48 high-precision magnetic flux sensors, enables continuous, real-time monitoring of every stay cable throughout construction — marking the first full-process online monitoring ever applied in an incrementally launched extradosed bridge.

      With a main span of 100 meters, the Senqu Bridge adopts a continuous beam structure combining tower–girder consolidation and tower–pier separation.

      By integrating IoT and cloud-based technologies, OVM’s monitoring platform ensures safe, precise, and efficient construction, while enabling smart, data-driven operation after completion.

      This project not only represents a milestone for Lesotho’s bridge development but also demonstrates OVM’s strength in intelligent bridge technology worldwide.
