On September 23, 2025, the main bridge of the Tianmen Bridge on the Anpan Expressway was successfully closed. This marks a breakthrough in the construction of the Anpan Expressway and brings the project closer to the goal of opening the entire line to traffic. With a total length of 1,553 meters, a main span of 820 meters, and a height difference of 560 meters from the deck to the river surface, this super project will become the world's third-highest bridge and the world's highest double-deck six-lane steel truss suspension bridge upon completion.

OVM provided the downstream main cables and all the hangers for the bridge. Each main cable of the bridge is composed of 127 strands, and each cable strand consists of 91 high-strength hot-dip galvanized aluminum steel wires with a diameter of 5.8 mm and a tensile strength of 1,860 MPa. A single cable strand is approximately 1,420 meters long, and the total weight of the steel wires in a single main cable is about 3,500 tons. On March 21, 2025, the bridge officially entered the main cable erection phase, and the full completion of the main cable erection was achieved on May 1st. Due to the construction schedule and the fast main cable installation speed, OVM organized production and shipments efficiently, keeping pace with rapid main-cable installation to deliver on time and in full quality.

The bridge uses a total of 236 hangers, and each hanger is composed of 121 low-relaxation galvanized alloy high-strength steel wire with a diameter of φ5.0 mm, and the standard tensile strength of the steel wires is 1,860 MPa. After the first hanger has been approval on June 11, all 236 hangers for Tianmen Bridge were delivered on July 18, fulfilling the contract on schedule.
